Entrepreneurship Vs Leadership

Running a business is 20% leadership and 80% management.Growing business is 80% leadership and 20% management.

Leadership begins with a long term thinking mentality and where the business will be 1,3,5,and 10 years later (ex.expanding internationally). Management focuses on focusing the team's efforts on those goals..

Learning to be a leader begins with shifting your focus from building a business to building a team that will take your business further for decades to come.

Walt Disney started out with one person (Walt Disney) but it has grown since then thanks to the team that Walt gathered and built in the early years of the company.

Learning to use problems as stepping stones is one of the pillars of running a successful business since all businesses are faced with a lot of problems/challenges/opportunities only if the leader is insightful enough to see the opportunity through the problem not the problem itself and guess what! every problem has a solution.

Effective leadership enables the team to perform well in the absence of the leader not only in his presence.

Leaders are very good with people and know when to lead and when to let go.

To be a leader you must develop an appetite for learning and hunger to change and the harder you work on building your team the harder your team works on building your business.
