Self motivation is the key to building and sustaining our belief and focus when facing tough challenges and
i think lack of belief is a matter of holding on to something (fear, wrong conviction, mistake, something someone else told you) so its simply a matter of what is causing us NOT to believe that we need to work on erasing so we can move forward freely.
Here are 8 ways which are really that powerful in terms of building our beliefs even though some of them might be familiar to us,it wouldn't hurt to mention them as a reminder:
1)THE BIG PICTURE
Always keep your eyes on the finish line ,this is what Olympic champions in the 100 meters race do,they don't look at how long the race is ,their only concern is the finish line.
2)''IF SOMEBODY COULD DO IT THEN I CAN !''
Reading success stories of and being exposed to successful people (mentors) in your niche should be top priority since nothing builds our belief better than 'if he could do it then i can do it too'' attitude.
3)''I CAN..I WILL..I MUST''
Affirming to yourself that you can and will win despite the obstacles your facing is how you should live ,because if you don't support yourself no body will.
4)Screw it..Just DO it.
IF you noticed that even the fact that birds are heavier than air, they manage to fly and why is that?because they don't care about the laws of gravity. So,when trying to do something your not sure how is gonna turn out then do it and you will find out.
5)Refuse to give up.
your faith in your abilities is what counts when the going gets rough and that is all you need to succeed.Nothing else matters.
6)Learn from the Past but Focus on the future.
It is our past that sometimes interferes and holds us back so all we need is forget it and just do it keeping the faith that things will turn out well some how in the future.
7)Keep Pushing Forward.
Persistence is the single most powerful tool you have when you face the challenge and it is persistence that separates winners from losers just preserver and you find your way out.
8)Motivational books/music/audios/movies.
Don't rely on external motivation since it doesn't last but you can use it to support your belief in yourself and build a healthy self image.
