How to Produce a play?

Plays Production is about putting together a show & it takes a mixture of organizational & people skills with artistic taste. The producer is the person who oversees the process all the way till the curtains open.
the production process goes usually through the next stages as follows:
1.Casting,or gathering a crew for the play and the cast or the crew differs from one play to a nother depending on the type of the play and the budget  since producing a musical will take usually a larger cast than producing any other type of plays & if your budget is 50,000 USD then you will feel much free to include more members on your team unlike having a budget of 10,000USD.
2.Budgeting for the play, how can you produce a play if you don't know what Resources & How much funding you need for the play to happen so when calculating the budget keep in mind 3 things:Personnel,Materials,Theater Renting Fare,&Marginal expenses(transportation, foods, electricity, etc)  and remember after you're done calculating that the number you have is always  ESTIMATED  not the Real budget cos a lot of things can happen or go wrong and may some Decorations or equipment will need maintenance or some costumes might be lost before the show and you will need to have new costumes designed ,etc.
3.Scheduling of Tasks,How good are your management skills?if you do not feel confident for doing this task then you might consider the aid of some else who might be as well the assistant producer or you might turn this task over to some one who has enough expertise in this area(did you include that in the budget?!!!) scheduling is basically arranging the actions/tasks which are needed for  the production to be complete in terms of time and you can learn to schedule it is similar manner to scheduling a project .
4.Following Up & Follow Through with the cast to make sure that every thing is going smoothly and solve problems as they occur.
these are the basic 4 pieces which represent the whole production process and you can expand your knowledge and understanding of each and more by going to  the site below:
